I’ve sniffled and coughed my way through this past week. I only made it to the gym once!! I went on Monday morning only to leave within 30 minutes because I felt like crap. The week just got worse so I ended up relying on lots of cold and flu meds to get me through the week. So I wont give myself too much of a hard time for missing the workouts.
I’ve tried to drink lots of water infused with citrus and finished off airborne fizzie tablets through the week and I did make a big pot of Chicken/Veg broth and had a few cups of that tonight. I’m just not one of those warrior women…….you know the type.….. they don’t let anything bother them. They have will run the last mile with a broken ankle, make their way to spin class as they are enduring a migraine…Not me. If I’m sniffling, I figure…”Who really want’s to hear that.”. Then I quickly turn over and go back to sleep. I have no problem telling myself that I’m sick and I deserve a popsicle and should not be doing push ups. I’m just not that warrior girl.
